Pore volume and surface diffusion model (PVSDM) applied for single and binary dye adsorption systems

چکیده

The PVSDM model was used for single and binary dye adsorption systems. This is commonly in systems, but this the first time a mixture of dyes literature. To that end, new adsorbent derived from Bauhinia forficata waste created described eventual use treatment combination (methylene blue crystal violet). isotherms revealed increasing temperature decreases methylene capacity while violet capacity. Langmuir extended models respectively. Maximum capacities 229.13 mg g−1 at 298 K 324.12 328 were obtained. thermodynamic parameters showed process both spontaneous, being exothermic endothermic violet. Similar decay curves systems observed. able to describe external mass transfer surface diffusion change according initial concentration system type (single or binary).
